Nail Art: Freehand Easter Bunny

Well hello again!  It's been awhile, hasn't it?  Whilst I haven't stopped painting my nails, life has been getting in the way of photographing and blogging my manis - and I intend to change that, starting with this adorable DIY Easter-themed manicure!
This is one of the cutest freehand manicures I've ever attempted, in my opinion.  And it was so easy!  I started with my base coat, OPI Nail Envy, and let that dry.  Then I added three coats of Essie Go Ginza on my thumb, pointer and pinky, and three coats of piCture pOlish Tiffany on my middle and ring finger.  The best part about freehand nail art is that there's no need to wait agonizingly long for your base colours to dry... I gave it maximum five minutes before whipping out my dotting tool and brushes.

The spots are dotted on freehand using my bornprettystore.com tools (you can find them here).  For the little bunny, I used a 00 size nail art brush to first paint on his ears using Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On, then his head in the same colour.  I added the pink accents to the ears using Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure I Pink I Can, and dotted on those eyes and a little x mouth using my trusty Ulta3 Black Satin.

What do you think?  Will you be trying out any freehand nail art this Easter?
